Assassination talk isn't new to Senator Obama, as he receives any where from 70-130 hate-filled assassination threats per-day. His offices in West Virginia were bombed and marked with hate filled messages to only go unnoticed by the media.
The story finally came to a head when Senator Obama requested extra security from the US Secret Service and was granted the protection due to threat to the Senator's life.
Never before has a political candidate needed Secret Service protection this early in the campaign season. Traditionally, all candidates are offered protection once they secure their party's nomination.
My question to America: "If it isn't racism, what is it"?

Well, I'm not sure it's fair to say that Mike Huckabee has "called for Obama's assassination." He made a joke - perhaps ill-advised, but still a joke. Huck's been a pretty lighthearted guy on the campaign trail, and this was simply an extention of that.
MMM... Huckabee's an insider to the political arena and understood his comments before hand. We're talking about a former candidate joking, at an NRA meeting in KY, about a man's assasination after he had to have security for multiple racially charged death threats. If we give Huckabee a pass to make these sort of comments then we should excuse Trotta, Clinton, Nugent and the whole slew of other's who so-called "joke" about the assassination of Obama. Why his assassination and not any of the other candidates? We shouldn't be so naive to think these joke's are light-hearted, when people take these "jokes" to be the acceptance of bad behavior. Leaders should live above reproach, including Rev. Huckabee. But, i can't convince all, its your choice to call out wrong.
